Fire Safety Tips from Lead Volunteer Fire Department
Fire safety is a top priority for us. It’s crucial to take these tips home and share them with your family, friends, and everyone you know.
Stay informed and prepared with Lead Volunteer Fire Department’s fire safety tips and guidelines:
- Install Smoke Alarms: Ensure smoke alarms are installed on every level of your home. Test them monthly.
- Create an Escape Plan: Develop a fire escape plan with your family and practice it regularly.
- Keep Flammable Items Away: Store flammable materials in a safe place, away from heat sources.
- Use Heaters Safely: Keep heaters at least three feet away from anything that can burn. Never leave them unattended.
- Cook with Caution: Stay in the kitchen while cooking, especially when using high heat.
